Mangalore : Karnataka is much developed state in India. Mangalore is very fast growing city in the state. Congress try hard for a significant role in the development of Karnataka state said, AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Friday April 4 at Nehru Maidan.
Speaking at a convention of the Congress election campaign, he said that Mangalore is women’s dominating area. Congress has reserved 50 per cent seats for them in local bodies and was committed to providing 33 per cent reservation in state legislatures and Lok Sabha.
Taking about Congress senior leader B Janardhana Poojary candidate from Dakshina Kannada constituency, party has chosen him through the internal polls. He is the sincere, dedicated and honest leader. People of the district must be support Poojary, to bring power again.
Attacking to the BJP Rahul said, Narendra Modi speaks about 2G spectrum scam, speaks of corruption but he do not talk about the insufficiency of his party. BJP speaks of hindutva and respect for women but what has it done the lady corporator who went to seek votes in Kulai, he questioned.
Rahul appealed to the voters to support the Congress, to develop the City as Industrial hub. He said we are setting up an industrial corridor to generate job opportunities and to take the state in progress.
Speaking on the occasion Chief minister Siddaramaiah said, BJP neglected many leaders like Advani, Jaswanth Singh, Yashwanth Sinha. They have declared him as the candidate as Modi is an avid of RSS. If he becomes the PM, as they know that a RSS man can build a communal nation.
BJP saying Modi wave is everywhere. I have travelled across the state and I can say that there is no Modi wave, Siddaramaiah said.
