Mangalore : In support to Congress DK Constituency candidate B Janardhan Poojary, the District Congress organized a rally in the city, on the last day of the campaigning on April 15, Tuesday.

The rally kick started from Nehru Maidan and concluded at Urwa market ground, proceeded through State Bank circle, Rao and Rao circle, Vishwabhavan, Kodialbail, PVS circle, Ballalbagh, Lalbagh, Ladyhill along with large number of supporters.

Addressing the rally at Urwa market ground, Janardhan Poojary said that he was happy to see large number of young and enthusiastic men and women taking part in the rally to render their support to Congress party.

He also said that Power is not permanent, but the supporter gathered in large number itself shows the future for India. The congress workers leaders and have supported a lot throughout a campaign seeking votes through door to door system too, with the hope to gain victory in the upcoming election.

Health minister U T Khadar urged the party workers to work hard till the election gets over. The people of country should help Congress candidate Janardhan Poojary to reach Delhi and throw BJP and SDPI into the Arabian Sea.

MLA J R Lobo, mayor Mahabala Marla, MLA Mohiuddin Bava, Badruddin, Ibrahim Kodijal, Harikrishna Bantwal, Ivan D’Souza, T K Sudhir and others were present.
