Mangalore : A KSRTC bus driver was killed, injuring 15 passengers, when the bus he was driving rammed into another private buses coming from opposite direction at Kolnad near Mulky on April 19, Saturday.

The accident occurred, when a Hubli-Mangalore KSRTC sleeper bus, in order to overtake other vehicles, collides with private bus ‘Pragati’ plying to Udupi from Bangalore moving towards opposition direction at 5.45 am.

The KSRTC bus driver died on the spot, while the driver of private bus and 15 passengers sustained serious injuries. The injured have been admitted to Srinivas hospital, Mukka for treatment.

A case has been registered in Mulky police station.
