Mangalore : Mayor Mahabala Marla inaugurated ‘Saanidhya Utsav’, a cultural programme organized as part of ‘Vision-2014’ an art and craft exhibition held at Kadri Park on April 19, Saturday.

The event was organized by Saanidhya Residential School and Training Centre, Shaktinagar in association with the trustees of the Shree Ganesha Seva Trust for Exceptional Persons.

AJ Sharma of Lion’s Club, inaugurated a sale cum exhibition which featured items prepared by the Saanidhya inmates.

NV Sambasiva Rao, proprietor of Premium foods, Dr Shantharam Shetty MD of Tejaswini Hospital and Sri Darshan Jain MD of Isiri Herbal were the guest of honour.

Famous Gazal artists Jagadish Shetty entertained the audience with musical event, followed by a Yakshagana performance.
