Mangalore : Many passengers including five women and a child were seriously injured, as a college bus rams into a mini bus near Mangalajyoti, Vamanjoor on April 24, Thursday.

The accident occurred as driver of the mini bus, Haneef of Ranipura was taking the bus carrying a wedding party towards Thokkottu in a wrong side of the road, rammed into a bus belonging to Srinivas Institute of Technology at a Vamanjoor turning.

The passengers who sustained injuries have been shifted to AJ Hospital.

An auto rickshaw, which also rammed into the mini bus from the rear end, was damaged.

Mangalore rural police arrived at the spot and cleared the traffic which was affected for sometime dur to accident.
