Mangalore : A total of 14,870 students appeared for the Common Entrance Test for admission to professional courses in the Dakshina kannada and Udupi districts began on May 1, Thursday.
The students appearing for admission to the Medical, Dental, Engineering, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy and Yoga courses for the academic year 2014-15 is being conducted in 15 centres in Mangalore along Moodbidri, Kundapur and Karkala and 10 centres in Udupi.
The CET examination was being held at St. Aloysius Pre-University College at Kodialbail, Govt PU College at Car Street, Paduva PU College, St Agness PU College, Ganapathy PU College, Govt PU College at Balmatta, Milagres PU College, Canara PU College, St Ann’s PU College, Madhusoodana Kushe Pre-University College at Attavar, Alva’s College A & B Block at Moodbidri, Mahaveera Pre-University College at Moodbidri and Jain Pre-University College at Moodbidri, Holy Rosary PU College and Excellent PU College at Moodbidri, Govt PU College and Vivekananda PU College at Puttur, St Philomena Pre-University College at Puttur, SDM PU College and SDM Residential PU College at Ujire in Dakshina Kannada.
