Mangalore, May 1: The dead body of Junaid Sheikh, who went missing since April 29, Tuesday, has been found floating in the Netravathi River at Uliya on May 1, Thursday.

The deceased is identified as Junaid Sheikh (20), a resident of Jeppu, who was working at Lifestyle Stores at City Centre Mall.

It is learnt that, Junaid had last called his cousin Suhail from his mobile phone on Tuesday at around 7 pm and asked him take his ATM card kept at a shop at Morgansgate and give his salary amount to his mother after drawing from the ATM.

Even though it is claimed as suicide, the exact reason of his death is not known.

A case has been registered at Ullal police station.
