Mangalore : Much awaited Tulu film ‘Brahmashri Narayana Guru Swamy’, produced under the banner of Tungabhadra Films released at Jyothi theatre on May 2, Friday.
Director Rajshekhar Kotian’s mother Kalyani inaugurated the formal function of movie release ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajshekhar Kotian said that he was happy to see his film getting released on the auspicious day and he is lucky to be a part of such a movie which describes the life of great saint, Sri Narayana Guru who is admired by all especially Mangaloreans.
He also said that he has the experience of working with great actors like Ravi Chandran, Darshan, Sudeep and others, but finds difficult to predict the pros and cons of Tulu movie. Hence people of Tulunadu must support the film in large.
Story writer Mulky Chandrashekar Suvarna expressed his gratitude and said that the film got released at five theaters across Udupi and Mangalore.
Harish Shetty, Santhosh Shetty, T A Srinivas, Pitambara Peraje, Ravi Poojari, Shivakripa Kasargod, Venkatadri, Dhanaraj, Anil V P and others were present.
