Mangalore : The VHP jointly with Bhajarangadal staged a mass protest meeting in front of DC Office on May 12, Monday condemning the congress led state government for running the unconstitutional administration in the state.
Addressing the protestors, Bajrang Dal state convener Surya Narayana said that CM Siddaramaiah must dismiss the state government if he cannot give a fair administration.
He also said that the congress government in order to appease the Muslim community is trying to evade the saffron groups in the state. The government in the state is following anti-Hindu policies such as withdrawal of anti-cow slaughter bill and encouraging illegal cattle trafficking.
He also criticized Congress government for conducting assaults on Hindutva leaders and imposing them false cases.
The state government is Hindus are being treated as third-class citizens, while trying to appease Muslims by providing grants to Muslims for Hajj pilgrimage and implementation of Shaadi Bhagya schemes.
VHP member Jitendra Kottari warned the government to take strict action if they failed to implement anti-Hindu policies in the state.
He also demanded probe into Kabeer killing by ANF police and condemned the government’s move of declaring Rs 10 lakhs as compensation to his family.
VHP leaders M B Puranik and Jagadish Shenava, Hindu Jagrana Vedike leader Satyajit Suratkal, Bajrang Dal leader Sharan Pumpwell, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, BJP leader Nagesh Shetty and others participated in the protest meeting.
Before the protest meet, the members carried out a massive rally Ambedkar Circle to deputy commissioner’s office.
