Mangalore : B.Ramanath Rai minister for forest, environment and ecology and district incharge inaugurated the new building of Kavoor police station here on Tuesday June 3.
Speaking after inauguration Ramanath Rai said that, the people of Mangalore should support the police to stop crimes. Mangalore city is now developed, as well as crime also increasing day by day. The help of public police can reduce crimes.
The police department protecting people by their work, police have to work hard in some of the cases. Rai, appreciated the police department.
R Hitendra Mangalore city Police commissioner said that, there are three more police stations in Dakshina Kannada that are in rented buildings.The ministers should help the department copacetic place for construct these police stations.
Minister for Fisheries and Youth Services Abhaychandra Jain requested to departmet, Moodbidri needs better police security and efficient police officer, there are many famous colleges, hospitals, temples and Students come from various places to study, he also recommend to the police commissioner to give more importance to Moodbidri.
MLA B A Mohiuddin Bava advised the officers to work for the people in rapidly.
