Mangalore : J R lobo Mangalore South MLA visited a place in Jappinamogaru named Bolla Kallathodu, where the people are facing problems due the flood water covering the road and are even not able to walk on the roads at the rainy seasons.
MLA promised the locals to keep aside the needed amount from the fund in the next term and reconstruct the road by increasing the height of it. The works are to be started and completed at the earliest, he said.

Adam Kudru drinking water pipeline works
The people of Adam Kudru were facing problems with regards to the drinking water and this issue was already brought to the notice of Mangalore South MLA, J R Lobo, during his earlier visits. The locals were sometimes even forced to drink salt water. Hence taking this issue seriously, MLA had ordered for a drinking water pipeline installation from Nethravathi Bridge to Adam Kudru Church.
The project has already been started and the total estimated cost is Rs 17 lacs and the works are to be carried out at the earliest possible, said MLA. During his visit to the inspection today, the public themselves expressed their joy and happiness due to the pipeline works carried out.

Yekkur concrete main road
The concretization of Yekkur main road in Kankanady B ward has already been completed and the road has been let for use. Mangalore South MLA, J R Lobo, inspected the quality and lauded the officials and the contractor for the good quality maintained in construction. Discussions were also held with regards to continuation of road, further.
A bridge on this main road has been very old and it has been creating problem for the movement of vehicles as it is narrow, hence the proposals will be sent to the construction of new bridge across here, said J R Lobo.

Jappinamogaru main road concrete works
The Jappinamogaru main road is under concretization at a cost of Rs 1.30 crores under the SFC grant fund. Mangalore South MLA J R Lobo, here on Saturday July 5, paid visit to the spot and inspected the construction works, especially with regards to the maintenance of Quality at all points. He also held a discussion with the officials and the corporators with regards to the continuation of the presently proposed distance of concretization.
This main road had been left unattended and damaged from a very long time and the public and the vehicles were facing too much problems in this regards. The locals have thus been relieved form the major problem that they were facing from and very long ago.
