Belthangady: Thieves have robbed Cash and valuables from two houses located at same compound on Ujire College road.

The two houses belong to the NRI brothers Nazeer NS and Hyder Ali. The incident of theft only came into on August 4, Monday morning when one of the house owners had visited home, after he returned from his relative’s house in Sakaleshpur, as he had returned from, Saudi Arabia on holiday.

Nazeer also found that his brother’s house was also been burgled, who is working in Saudi Arabia.

The thieves have decamped with six sovereigns of gold, Rs 5000 cash and wrist watches.

Belthangady Police have registered the case and investigations are on.
