Bantwal : Three persons, in connection with the murder of Rickshaw driver Mohammad Refai,a resident of Badigudde in Sujeeru near Maripalla were arrested.

The accused has been identified as Mohammad Asif, Dhanaraj and Siraj alias Balekai Siraj.

The teams led by Bantwal Circle inspector Belliyappa and Rural SI Nagaraj arrested the three and three more persons are said to be involved in the crime and search for them is on.

According to police, Mohammad Asif is said to be prime accused in the murder. Whereas, Dhanraj and Siraj, helped Asif to commit the crime.

District police superintendent Sharanappa arrived Bantwal on Tuesday to guide them in the investigation.

The arrested were produced before the court on August 13 and are sent to judicial custody.
