Mangalore : Ahead of the Onam festivities, large number of students from the neighbouring Kerala participated in the floral Rangoli competition organized by Srinivas College of Hotel Management in the college premises on September 1, Monday.

The students from 25-30 colleges actively participated in the competition giving a true colour of Onam celebration in the premises. Around 40 teams, comprising of 5 members each displayed their creativity with beautiful floral designs around the college.

The student’s team from Laxmi Memorial College of Hotel Management created 40×18 ft giant floral rangoli, attracting huge audience.

The result of the competition will be declared on the day of the Onam festival celebration to be held in the college on September 4.
