Mangalore : The University Level Inter-collegiate Table Tennis Tournament organized by Besant Women’s College in association with Physical Education Department of Mangalore University at Besant Women’s College concluded on Sep 3, Wednesday.

The Men’s team of Milagres College Kallianpur defeated Poornaprajna College Udupi with (3-0), while in women’s category, St. Agnes College defeated Poornaprajna College Udupi with (3-1).

Burnald from Milagres College Kallianpur bags the Best Player trophy of the tournament in men’s category, while Melisha of St.Agnes was Best Player in women’s category.

Chief guest Prof. Siddaramu, Joint Director of Collegiate Education Mangalore gave away the prizes to the winners the valedictory ceremony. He also appreciated the efforts of the Institutions for organizing such a tournament.

Dr.Gerald Santhosh D’souza, Deputy Director of Physical Education Department of Mangalore University spoke on the occasion.

College Principal Prof. Pushpalatha presided over the function. Physical Directress Sowmya T.N and Sports Secretary Harshitha were present on the dais.
