Mangalore : Health department of Mangalore City Corporation conducted a raid at sprouted street snack kiosks located in front of Forum Mall in the early morning on September 7, Sunday.
MCC team led by senior health inspector Bharat Kumar under the direction of health officer Dr Manjayya Shetty, in the absence of the vendors and cleared over 20 shops vending several items at Mall and Rosario Church Hall.
In the coming days, MCC would soon carry out similar raids in city as part as Mangalore a clean healthy city.
The officials said that the vendors vending snacks like Panipoori, corn items and sundries attracted the wrath of some people.
The road leading to SP Offices, Head Post office to Rosario Hall needs attention; since it could be a one way to make it safe and sound.
