Udupi : A baby boy was found dead after it accidentally fell into a bucket filled with water in the bathroom in Chantaru in Brahmavar on Sept 13, Saturday.

The deceased baby is identified as nine months old Riyan.

The child was playing with the water filled in the bucket at the bathroom. Suddenly the child slipped and fell inside the bucket facing head down. The child was dead, when the kin realized the incident.

The nine months old child fell showing its head first down into the bucket filled with water, while playing in the bathroom. By the time the kin realized, it was too late, it is said.

A case has been registered at Brahmavar police station.
