Mangalore : KMC Hospital organized the World Heart Day Drawing Competition for the Tenth consecutive year on the theme “Heart Healthy Environment” for Class 4 to Class 10 students. Nearly 360 students and 30 in-patient children from across the city participated in this Drawing competition and made it a huge success.
Attractive cash prizes will be distributed to the competition winners on the valedictory function of World Heart Day Run on Sunday 28th Sept 2014 at KMC Hospital, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Circle, Mangalore.
Dr. Anand Venugopal, Medical Superintendent stated that by conducting the Drawing Competition amongst school children our aim is to increase the child’s awareness towards heart related ailments and to develop in them a consciousness to practice healthy habits from a very young age itself which will eventually lead to a healthy generation ahead.
Mr Saghir Siddiqui, Unit Head has thanked all the children & their parents for their active participation year on year in the World Heart Day Drawing competition conducted by KMC Hospital to mark World Heart Day.
