Kulai : The thieves broke into an advocate’s office located in Kulai and decamped with the cash amount of Rs 2 lakh on Sep 24, Wednesday.

The incident came to light on Thursday morning when advocate P Prashanth found his office door broken and the cash of Rs 2 lakh was found missing.

The pick-axe used to break open the door and commit the theft was found outside his office.

It is learnt that this theft is the second crime committed in the area.

A case has been registered at Suratkal police station and the investigation are on.
