Bhatkal : Three persons were injured in a clash erupted between two groups belonging to the Congress party at Murdeshwar on September 24, Wednesday night.

The injured persons are identified as Mohammed Nasir Shaikh (42) and Raju Rama Naik (35). While critically injured person Abdul Jabbar Haji Buran (45) was shifted to Hospital after initial treatment at a local hospital.

According the victim Nasir, he along with four of his friends including Abdul Jabbar, Pawan Kumar, Dharma Naik and Yaseen were coming out of restaurant after having dinner. Suddenly, eight men came in bike and questioned about Kumar, who not with them. The argument later turned to group clash.

A case has been registered against Raju Rama Naik and eight others in connection with the clash as per a complaint lodged by Dharma Naik.

Senior police personnel’s visited the spot and investigations are on.
