Udupi : Chief Minister Siddaramaiah distributed Arogya Suraksha Card to the beneficiaries at Brahmavar Gandhi ground on September 27, Saturday.
He was speaking after inaugurating the programme organized by district unit Mogaveera Yuva Sanghatane, in association with G Shankar Family trust Ambalpady and Manipal University
CM also appreciated the effort of trust, for introducing the noble scheme for the poor. He also urged the association to fight against the power supporting the anti social elements.
He also assured to fulfill the reasonable demands put forth by the Mogaveera community in the coming days. Further a meeting will be convened to discuss about the various facilities to be provided for the fisheries community.
The compensation of Rs 1 lakh will be given to the family members of those fishermen who die on duty due to natural calamities, he said
