Mysore: Sanjay N of Income Tax, Bangalore wins 4^th Mysore Dasara State Level Open Chess Championship 2014. Sanjay remained unbeaten in 9 rounds and scored 8 points. He beat gaint-killer Raviprakash S.M of LIC in the last round. Yashaskara K R Jois won against Anshuman Mohanty in the last round and won second place.

 In Women’s category Manasa H R of De’Paul International School & a product of Mysore Chess Center secured 7 points out of possible 7 rounds and swept away the crown. Prof. Prema Leela K R of celestial minds, USA, won second place.

The chess championship was organised by District Youth & Sports Services (DYSS), Mysore on occasion of Mysore Dasara Sports.
