Bantwal : A Ford Figo rammed into a speed controlling barricade and hit three parked vehicles and a pedestrian at Maripalla on October 4, Saturday.

Injured pedestrian has been identified as Abdul Lateef (28), a resident of Farangipet.

It is learnt that, Ford Figo car heading towards Mangalore from Bantwal lost its control and rammed into a barricade, further hitting parked two Honda Activa’s and one TVS bike and even a pedestrian standing by the side of the road. The driver is said to be fled from the spot.

Bantwal rural police arrived at the spot and further investigations are on.
