Mangalore : Alvas Education Foundation chairman Dr M Mohan Alva, released the audio of Tulu film ‘Chaali Polilu’ at the Press Club on October 8, Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr M Mohan Alva expressed his happiness to release the audio of the film ‘Chaali Polilu’ music composed by V Manohar from Dakshina Kannada and background music by Manikanth Kadri.

Alva said that, Tulu language being an ancient and one among the most prominent languages is close to laughter. Tulu has excelled in the field of literature, theatre, cinema, folk literature, social and politics.

Renowned comedian and playwright Devadas Kapikad said that, whole production was completed on the basis of mutual understanding to give a creative film to the audience.

Another comedian and playwright Naveen D Padil film is directed in a unique way and done as per the expectations of people completing the shooting in 26 days.

The film ‘Chaali Polilu’, produced under the banner of Jayakirana Films is produced by Prakash Pandeshwar and directed by Veerendra Shetty Kavoor. V Manohar has composed music and Manikanth Kadri provided background music for the film.

Devdas Kapikad, Navin D Padil, Boojaraj Vamjoor, Sundar Rai Mandara, Chethan Rai Mandara, Divya, Navya, Padmaja Rao and several other artists have played an active role in the much awaited movie.

Arjun Kapikad has played a guest appearance and Surendra Bantwal played the lead role in the movie.

Anuradha Bhat, Inchara Rao, Manikanth Kadri, Chinthan Vikas, Rithisha Padmanabha and Mohan have lent their voice for the six songs composed by V Manohar, Devdas Kapikad and Vijaykumar Kodialbail.

Prakash Pandeshwar welcomed the guests, Kadri Navaneeth Shetty compered the event.
