‘Usirigintha’ is a triangular love story which revolves around Surya, Vidya and Rashmi. While, Vidya is in love with Surya, Surya loves Rashmi a lot. But Rashmi rejects Surya’s love due to various reasons, which makes Surya lose his mental balance. What happens next forms the rest of the film.
Though the story looks very simple and old, director Suryakiran has narrated the film in a different style and that’s one of the major highlights of the film. Suryakiran has written a screenplay in such a way, that the film hooks the audience to seats. The first half of the film is a little slow and come second half, the film moves on with a speed.
Suryakiran excels more in direction rather than acting. Esther Naronha and Vidya have done good job. Ramakrishna, Veena Sundar, Sharath Lohitashwa, Nagini Bharana and others have excelled in the roles.
Another highlight of the film is the camerawork by Suresh Babu. Particularly, the songs are a treat to watch. Avinash-Sriram’s songs are also good.
