Bantwal : A car moving at a speed plunged into a deep gorge critical injuring three persons including a child near Kanyana village in Bantwal taluk on Oct 22.

The injured have been identified as Odiyoor residents Abdul Rahman, Zubair, and child Hasan. The car was completely damaged in the accident.

The incident took place when the trio was on their way to Uppala in Kasargod district from Odiyoor in an Alto car when the driver lost his control over the vehicle while taking a curve at Padekallu near Kanyana.

The locals helped the injured to admit in the private hospital on auto-rickshaw.
