Mangaluru : Dialogist, Story writer and Tulu theatrical personality Vijaykumar Kodialbail’s much awaited Tulu movie ‘Madime’ released at Mangaluru theaters on November 20, Thursday.
City Mayor Mahabala Maarla inaugurated the film releasing ceremony in a formal function held at Suchitra Theatre in the city by lighting the traditional lamp along with other dignitaries.
Deputy commissioner A B Ibrahim, Businessman Ajith Kumar Rai Maladi, Lead actor Likhith Shetty, Lead actress Ramya Barna, Producer Megina Maladi Balakrishna Shetty, Dr Kakkillaya and whole artists of the Madime movie were present in the inaugural ceremony.
Speaking after lighting the lamp Mayor Mahabala Maarla appreciated to brings such quality films to the Tulu film industries. Kodialbail gave big contribution to growing Tulu language. His earlier film Oriyadori Asal also made huge success in the industries. I wish all success Kodialbails entire team to giving a good movie.
A.B. Ibrahim, Deputy Commissioner chief guest of the programme, said making regional films is very difficult to become succeed. He urged the people of the district to encourage the movie by watching it in theatres.
Lead actor Likhith said, Tulu people must watch the movie and support upcoming actors. Madime is very good story based movie. He requested the people of the district to support the artistes, and movie team by watching the movie.
Lead actress Ramya Barna also spoke on the occasion and said, this is my second Tulu movie, If I get the opportunity to act in Tulu movies I am ready, she thanked the director for giving the opportunity to act Tulu movie.
Film showcased on Suchitra, Big cinemas, Cenepolice and PVR cinemas in Mangaluru.
