Moodbidri : The well known security guard of Alva’s college Banglegudde Radhakrishna Nayak passed away on Tuesday, December 2 after a brief period of illness.

R K Nayak attracted people with unique dressing style and well built body. He severed to the institution over the last 15 years.

He had acted in Telugu movies such as ‘Gandipete’, ‘Bhava Bhava Paneeru’ among others. He also donned the role of villain in two Hindi movies.

Before working as security guard at Alva’s, R K Nayak was working as a watchman at a hotel in Hyderabad.

Then he came back to his native where he started a hotel business. However after incurring loss he then joined as the security guard at Alvas hospital.

R K Nayak who weighed 100 kgs before falling ill came down by 25 kgs during his final days.

After Alvas Hospital treatment, he shifted to KMC Hospital in Mangaluru.

On Tuesday, December 2, R K Nayak breathed his last at the age of 54.
