Mangaluru: Youth Congress Mangaluru Assembly unit celebrated the 68th birthday of Congress president Sonia Gandhi at Dr Giridhar Rao Sanjieevini Bai Vathsalyadhama Kodialbail in a unique way on Tuesday Dec 9.

On the occasion the youth Congress members distributed sweets and lunch for more than 50 members of Dr Giridhar Rao Sanjieevini Bai Vathsalyadhama Kodialbail, an old age home.

The programme began with prayer and Dakshina Kannada district youth Congress president Mithun Rai exchanged birthday wishes with the gathering.

Mangalore south youth Congress president Meryl Rego, vice president Ramananda Poojary, district youth congress secretory Kiran Budlegutthu, congress leaders Santhosh Shetty, Girish Shetty and Nazeer Bajal were present.
