Kundapur : A 3 year old boy accidentally fell into a pond and dies near Moorukai in Basrur here on Thursday December 25.

The deceased has been identified as Abhilash son of Venkatesh and Indira Devadiga, residents of BC Road, Kundapur.

It is said, the tragic incident happened on Wednesday December 24, when his younger brother’s naming ceremony was held, after this happy movement Abhilash went out to play with the other children who had arrived to the function.

Sources said, the deceased boy Abhilash accidentally fell into the pond while playing. Immediately he was rushed to the private hospital, but he breathe his last on the way.
