Sullia : A foreign couple got married in accordance with Hindu customs and traditions in Sneha Bayalu Ranga Mandira at Sullia on Sunday, January 11.

Sweden Cecilia fell in love with Gary from England. Cecilia working as a guest lecturer at a college in Sullia and both decided to get married according to Hindu traditions.

The kanyadaan was officiated by the Damle couple who donned the role of Cecilia’s parents and Madhusudan and Lata Kumbhagodu couple were on Gary’s side. Dr Vidyashambhava Pare took the place of Garry’s maternal uncle.

The Gary tied the knot Cecilia and walked the Saptapadi around the fire. Dressed in traditional attire the couple were cynosure of everybody’s eyes as they performed every ritual.

The wedding was witnessed by residents and students of Sullia.
