Ujire : In a ghastly road accident father-son died near Benaka hospital, Ujire here on Monday April 20 .

It is said, a sand laden lorry knocked down the motorcycle, and Killed son on spot an eye witness said.

The deceased have been identified as Dinesh and his son Abhishek, residents of Gandhinagar in Laila, they are painter by profession.

As per eye witness who complained to the Belthangady police station stated that, a bike which was being ridden in high speed, smashed into their bike, while a sand laden lorry moving towards Charmady knocked down the motorcycle, both were thrown on to the road because of the impact.

Dinesh breathed his last on the way to hospital.
