Mangalore : The Community Development Oriented Activities initiated by the Rotaract Club is Exemplary which is worth to be emulated by other voluntary service organizations.Opined MCC Dy Mayor Shri Purushotham Chitrapur. He was speaking as a chief guest at the Installation ceremony of the new office bearers of the Rotaract Club of Mangalore City held on Monday at Hotel Kudla Pavilion Auditorium. On this occasion he released the pamphlet published by the club on Malaria & Dengue fever awareness campaign and assured that the city corporation will support and cooperate with the club in community development Projects and Services.

President of the Rotary Club of Mangalore Central Rtn. Elias Sanctis installed the new office bearers and advised them and keep the Rotaract Club flag flying by serving the society with Rotary International Motto “Service above Self”. He also advised the youth members to develop professional and leadership skills for their individual developments.

District Rotaract Representative Rtr. Mahadevaswamy was the guest of honour, he urged the members to involve in the Rotaract movement actively and implement his theme. “Keep clean & Green, The earth is in your hands” and wished the team all the success in their future endeavors.

Zonal District Rotaract Representative Rtr. Bhageesh delivered the felicitation address. Newly elected President Rtr. Rajesh Devadiga in his address presented his future plans and projects and sought the support and cooperation of the members for its successful implementation. Chairman of the club Rtn Dr. Devdas Rai administered the oath reciting ceremony of the office bearers and new members.

Outgoing President Rtr Keshav welcomed, secretary Rtr Anil Shetty presented the annual report.
