Mangaluru : ‘Super Marmaye’, directed by Ram Shetty and produced under the banner of Anand Films which was most awaited Tulu film got released at Jyothi theatre on Friday August 14.
A Sadananda Shetty, chairman of Shree Devi Educational Trust light the lamp and said, “Ram Shetty is a famous name and he has worked in the Hindi, Kannada and Tulu film industries. Tulu movies have come to stay and are doing well and I wish this movie runs for more than 100 days. The whole team needs to be congratulated for giving a good movie to boost Tulu film industry.”
The film is also released in Big Cinemas, Cinepolis and PVR theatres in Mangaluru, the movie can also been seen in Nakshatra in BC Road, Kalpana in Udupi, Amarashree in Moodbidri, Radhika in Karkala, Arun in Puttur, Bharath at Beltanagady.
Manohar Prasad, a Senior journalist said, “Ram Shetty fhas shown enough talent and need no introduction. Because of him we were able to see good films of Tulu in the past, and now ‘Super Marmaye’. Movie should complete 200 day and should run further. The movie is produced by Adyar Madava Naik. Cameraman is Eugene D’Souza while the choreographer is Madan Harini and Music directed by Chandrakanth Shetty. Lyrics is by Shashiraj Kavoor and Naveen Shetty has written the dialogues. Assistant Director of the film is Sachin Shetty. Veteran actors like Gopinath Bhat, Naveen D Padil, Bojaraj Vamanjoor, Aravind Bolar, Ragavendra Rai, Divyashree, Shradha Salian and others have played different roles in the movie.
