25.06.10 Mangalore : The Youth Wing of Jamaath –E- Islami Hind staged protest in front of DC Office, demanding the Chief Minister to make an apology to Justice Santhosh Hegde and withdraw his resignation.
Speaking at the protest, Mohammed Kunni, district organizer of Youth Wing said that, the state is celebrating completion of two years in power, but the must think that the resigning of the Lokayukta of Karnataka from the post is not a success to the party.
He also urged the authorities to provide him with adequate powers and environment to carry out his responsibilities properly in future.
The State must organize conference in future to check the number of farmers dying in the state, by the injustice made to them, he said.
The state is developing only in the case of corruption. No development has been made to the 5 crore population of the state. He also said that, when the Justice Hegde did not get justice, how can a common people get justice, he stated.
