Mangaluru: Tulunad Rakshana Vedike ‘Netravati Ratha Yatre’ against Yettina Hole project began from in front of D.C office on Friday September 18.

Darmadarshi Harikrishna Punaruru inaugurated ‘Netravati Ratha Yatre’ vehicle. The Netravati ratha yatra will pass through Surathkal, Mangaluru, Kinnigoli, Kateel, Moodabidre, Vamadapadav, Punjalkatte, Belthangady, Ujire, Dharmasthala and will commence near Ullala dargah with a protest meet.

The founder president of Vedike Yogish Shetty Jeppu said, the hand bills will be distributed throughout the procession and speeches and meetings will be held in more than fifty places.

After a huge protest was organised on September 15 by blocking Mangaluru-Bengaluru national highway in Uppinangady, Chennai Green tribunal has already ordered a stay on Yettina Hole project till September 28.
