Mangaluru : Tulu film ‘Chandi Kori’ directed by well-known Tulu theatre and cinema comedy artiste Devdas Kapikad will hit the theatres on Friday. It would be the 59th Tulu cinema to be released in the series.

Addressing presspersons here on Wednesday Mr. Kapikad said that the cinema would be released in 11 theatres in Mangaluru, Udupi, Moodbidri, B.C. Road, Puttur, Belthangady and Karkala. Sharmila D. Kapikkad and Sachin A.S. Uppinangady have produced the film.

Mr. Kapikkad said Anand Audio has bought the audio rights of the movie. He has composed the music, while the background music is by Kadri Manikanth.

He said the film has four songs and both he and his son Arjun Kapikad, apart from Kadri Manikanth, Madhu Balakrishnan, and Apoorva Sridhar have sung them.

The film would be 2 hours 20 minutes long. Arjun Kapikkad and Karishma Ameen play the lead characters. Other actors are Naveen D. Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Aravinda Bolar, Gopinath Bhat and Satish Bandale.
