Bangalore: The single Judge commission enquiring into the episode relating to Katta Jagdish Naidu on his corruption activities, has issued a notice to Lokayukta police who had filed an FIR against him.
Justice A.N Pachapure made the enquiry into the issue. He asked the police (LA) not to make further complications but to maintain “status quo” in the matter until further orders. J. Katta had gone to High Court seeking relief on a second FIR, as there was no scope for two FIRs in one case under law, Katta had argued in an appeal this week.
The enquiry into the scam relating to Itasca Software Company’s land acquisition in which Katta (father and son) are involved, is adjourned to Thursday, tomorrow, by which time, the Lokayukta can raise any objections in the matter, the court said.
