Mangaluru : The much awaited Tulu movie Rambarooti, with young talents Starring is all set to release on April 1 in Mangaluru and Udupi districts.
Speaking in a press meet held at Foodlands Hotel on March 29 the director Prajwal Attavar said, the movie is releasing in Prabhath Theater in Mangaluru. Simultaneously the movie will be released in Cinepolis, PVR and Big Cinemas along with other 13 theatres across Udupi and Dakshina Kannada.
The film has been produced under the banner Opera Dream Movies by Prakash Kabettu and Shrinivas Ujire. The movie will be released in 13 theatres across the twin districts. In Mangaluru- Prabhat, Big Cinemas, PVR, Cine Polis. In Udupi-Kalpana, Manipal-Inox, Karkala-Radhika, Moodabidre-Amarashri, Surathkal-Natraj, BC Road- Nakshatra, Belthangady-Bharat, Puttur-Aruna and in Sullia-Santosh, he said.
For this movie we used to shoot at the weekends. The entire team is new and hence we need support. This is an experimental movie. There are 6 songs for which music is composed by Loy Valentine Saldanha and already people have liked it. We hope that audience will like our movie too.” he said.
Producer Shrinivas Ujire said, “Prajwal came to me with the story. I read it and agreed, because he, is a well experienced hand in Short films, Album songs and in Telefilms. VJ Vineet is playing the lead role in the movie and Shruthi Kotia and Chirashree Anchan are the female leads. The movie is totally comprised of new comers as 41 actors have debut in the movie. Harish Shetty, Sanil Guru, Sandesh Shetty have portrayed important roles in the film. Shabareesh Kabbinale will tickle your funny bones and Harish Shetty and Sanil Guru have tried their hands in negative roles, he said.
The leading roll Vineeth V.J said, this is a youngest team which new to the industry. Even the technicians are new and the entire movie team is fresh, hence we need support from media as well as the audience.” he said.
The first ever rap song in a Tulu movie, `enchi saavya….’ And `Bala Bala Gobbuga Nama Lagori’ are the record number of people have watched the songs on You Tube. Total Six songs in the movie.
The film has been shot in and around Mangaluru, Kalasa, Hebri, Karkala and other locations. Sunad Goutham has scored the background music and Prajwal himself has written four songs. Deepak Kodikal, Avinash Poojary, Loy Valentine, Melwyn Antony D’Souza, Savitha Puttur, Sherivn Ammanna have rendered their voices. Soumesh Bangera has composed and sung the rap song ‘enchi Saavya…’.
For the first time in Tulu movie marshal art ‘Muthay’ from Thailand has been used. Stunt Master Karthik S. Kateel has successfully adopted this marshal art form in the Rambarooti. The bike stunts are added attraction.
