Manjeshwar: In an head collision between Omni van and a KSRTC bus on National Highway 66 near Hosangadi, Manjeshwar a person died and four others were injured on Tuesday May 17.

The deceased Abdul Aziz K.( 50) resident of Hidayath Bazaar and son of Ismail Sheikh the driver of the omni van, All the injured have been admitted to various hospitals in Mangaluru.

The bus was coming to Mangaluru from Kasargod where as the omni van was heading to Uppala from Talapady. The locals struggled to pull out the injured from the crushed van before shifting them to hospitals, said witnesses.

Manjeshwar police arrived at the spot and investigations are on.
