Mysuru : Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) officials stalled the shooting of the film ‘Hebbuli’, which has ‘Kichcha’ Sudeep in the lead role, at Ramakrishna Circle in the city. for not taking requisite permission.
When MUDA Assistant Executive Engineer and his team arrived in the spot, the film crew said that they have obtained a permission from the Information and Public Relations department. “As per the recently introduced policy, it is enough to obtain permission from the department through the single-window system,” they tried to defend.
However, MUDA officials were firm that they would not allow shooting unless the film crew has the permission from the authorities concerned in the MUDA. This lead to a heated exchange of words from both the sides.
Finally, the film crew approached the MUDA office and obtained a permission to shoot for two days. The film, being directed by Krishna, also has Ravichandran, Amala Pal and Avinash.
