Srinagar (Kashmir): Border guards of India and Pakistan today exchanged fire on the borders, All India Radio reported here.
The violation of Cease-fire agreement has been reported from Samba in Jammu area, the winter capital.
Pakistan Rangers resorted to “unprovoked firing” on Indian posts in Jammu province. There was no loss of life or any damage done to properties in the cross border shoot out. The violation of peace came as usual from Pakistan, Indian forces stated today. Cease fire is maintained under a 2003 agreement but this is a third time violation of late, Indian guards informed.
