Mangaluru: Sullia block Congress President Venkappa Gowda alleged that MLA S Angara is involved in a fraud done by the Manger of a Co-Operative Society at Sullia.
Addressing press personnel at district Congress office, Mangaluru on Saturday he said that Nelluru Kembraje Co-op bank Manager Subrahmanya Bhat has taken a go down loan of Rs 10 lakh from the same society. During inspection he showed the rice as black pepper and sanctioned the loan.
“Administrator of the bank, bank staff are directly involved in the fraud. As they all are BJP members BJP MLA S Angara’s involvement is suspected in it. On moral grounds he should resign to his post,” he said.
“Moreover Subrahmanya Bhat has taken Rs 4.80 lakh of loan by keeping artificial jewellary as surety and a property loan on others property by forgery.
“Regarding this a complaint has given to the District Registrator and we urge him to conduct a fair investigation on these scams,” he said.
