Mangaluru: Mangaluru City Corporation Mayor Harinath said that the MCC is all set to lay foundation stone for four new developmental projects on July 24.
Speaking to the Media persons on Wednesday at his MCC Office he said that Alake and Kavoor market development project is also included in the current project.
“The foundation stone will be laid for the development of Kavoor junction and for the construction of a dining hall at Mangaluru Town Hall. The estimated budget of these two projects is Rs 1 crore each,” he said.
“The newly built night shelter at Bunder will be inaugurated by State Urban Development Minister Roshan Baig on the occasion. MP Naleen Kumar, Ministers Ramanatha Rai and U T Khader, MLA J R Lobo are expected to grace the event,” he added.
MCC Commissioner Mohammed Nazeer, Chairman of Health Committee Kavitha Sanil, former mayor Shashidhar Hegde and others were present.
