Bengaluru: The negotiation talk between the government and KSRTC staff unions has completed and the KSRTC employees accepted to resume their duty immediately, after government agrees to hike the pay by 12.5 per cent.
The KSRTC employees association has called for strike to increase the pay by 35 per cent. The government denied agreeing the demands of employees. None of the government buses were on road from past three days.
In a meeting held on Wednesday the union have decided to call off the protest and to resume their duty immediately. The government has succeeded in negotiating with the union. The government will increase the pay by 12.5 per cent along with other 40 demands.
Many BMTC buses have already resumed their duty.
