Mangaluru: “Police should take strict action against the piracy of Tulu movie ‘Dabak Daba Aisa’, so that no one should dare to circulate pirated copies of any upcoming movie,” said Tulu Nataka Kalavidhara Okkuta President, Kishore D Shetty.
Addressing the media persons at Mangaluru Press Club on Thursday he said that coastalwood have a history of 46 years. 60-70 movies have been released till now. The pandemic piracy is taking place just to create a hurdle to the speed of development of the industry.
“Mangaluru Police Commissioner Chandra Sekhar and Udupi SP Annamalai has promised the association to take strict action against the circulation of pirated copies of the movie. Our association condemns this negative development. These incidents should not repeat again,” he said.
He further said that the people of coastal belts should come and watch the movie in the theatre instead of watching it in mobiles or TV. People should support the efforts of coastalwood actors, producers and directors.
