Bengaluru: Kannada Film Chamber has announced its open support for the July 30’s Karnataka bundh over Mahadayi river interim report. In a meeting of KFCC on July 27, Wednesday film chamber President S R Govindu and other members have took this decision. All the members have opposed the interim report of the Mahadayi river dispute.
Entire film industry has supported the bundh. Kannada film superstars Shiva Rajkumar, Darshan, Duniya Vijay, Upendra, Ragini and other superstars will join hands in the strike. It is reported that the film actors are going to come on street seeking justice in the dispute.
Challenging star Darshan has cancelled his tour to Hassan to celebrate the 50 day completion of his movie Jaggu Dada.
Many fans of these superstars have backed the decision of film industry by posting positive response in the social media.
