Kumbla: Kumbla Cooperative Bank secretary Jagadeesh Rai has been fired from the duty for the irregularities during the duty, said bank’s President K Shankar Alva.

“Previously he kept under suspension as there were allegations on him from past six months. Now the allegations have proved to be true. So the bank dismisses Jagadeesh from his duty. The allegations were proved after the domestic enquiry,” said Shankar.

He further said that he has taken money from the bank by pledging fake documents. Jagadeesh haven’t returned the money to the bank also. This has proved in the enquiry. Legal action will be taken against him. The bank will proceed to fill it’s lose.

“As Jagadeesh has been dismissed from his duty, people should not have any type of business with him. The bank will not be responsible for any such cases,” he added.
