Mangaluru : Mangaluru Police have detained two Tamil women at central Market in the robbery case and seized 80 gram gold and rupees 1,45,000.

The police arrested duo near Roopavaani theater. Silvi (24) and Arai (22) resident of Mettu Palayam in Tamil nadu.

Addressing to the press at Commissioners Office DCP Shantharaju on Saturday said that both are accused are involved four robbery cases in the city where they snatch gold chain and purse without the knowledge of the person and flee away from the spot.

SI Beliyappa, Mohammed Sharif, Ananth Pandeshwar, Vishwanath were part of this operation.

DCP Dr Sanjeev M Patil was present.
