Bengaluru: High Court has ordered the Shivamogga special Lokayukta court to revise the order to take prior permission from efficient officers in MP yedyurappa’s case.
The HC passed this order on a case of involvement of BSY’s daughter Aruna Devi in the illegal buying of BDA sites and de-notification of the same.
The case was filed by advocate B Vinod on February 12, 2012. Now the HC has ordered to revise the order of Lokyukta court, which had said that whenever a case will be filed on a person who is a public servant, prior permission should be taken from the concerned authorities before probing the case.
During BSY’s tenure as the DCM of the state in 2011, in Shivamogga’s Vinobha Nagar four sites were allotted to four journalists. They had sold the sites to BSY’s daughter Aruna. Under Corruption Control Act, Vinod had filed a case in Lokayukta court. Police had also submitted a B report to the court saying that there is no evidence which proves the allegations.
The court had rejected the B report and had issued summons to BSY and others.
